Do children like green spaces near their homes ? How far is the nearest green space from your children ?
At school, children are taught geography, as the number of states in India, the capitals, and the atlas of the world.
But what about asking them to draw a map of their locality ? Will they draw a photograph of a tree, squirrels,
pigeons, or the photo of the local politician, who is smiling down from the big billboards and hoardings,
and doing namaskar to all who pass by ? Or do they draw the "shilanyas" black marble, containing the renowned and
useless, self advertising politician's name ? Where are all the Muslim leaders, who cannot even
build a lovely park for local Muslim children to play in ? Have you ever asked any child
how far is a good park from his house ?

Bringing back magars to Kanpur Ganges
Release of Kukrail alligators in Kanpur Ganges. We are happy to announce completion
of our dream project to re introduce alligators and crocodiles in River Ganges
between Kanpur and Unnao ghats. This has been possible only due to the long sighted help
and assistance of the loyal citizens of Kanpur who wanted the Ganges to be cleaned of
industrial pollution so that the original inhabitants of Ganges could claim their
river back after Kanpur citizens had forgotten for some time to clean their greatest
asset - River Ganges. Keeping one's rivers clean is the surest sign of clean people.

- Traffic Directorate UP :
One day soon the Uttar Pradesh Traffic Directorate will wake up to the need for planning
for cyclists and pedestrians on the roads and highways of UP. As a pedestrian, it is a nightmare
traversing roads in UP even to merely cross the road from one side to other. After all
pedestrians, cyclists are as much part of traffic as are car and bus motorists. The problem
is that the officers in Traffic Directorate are never forced to walk on foot or use bicycles.
